okay so like
Jul. 13th, 2010 07:32 pmI feel a little guilty that I spent so much time rehashing and compiling links for the RealID thing and then didn't address it at all here. But I spent so much time rehashing and compiling links for the RealID thing that I am really tired of it, so to sum:
* Blizzard did a Huge Dumb.
* Blizzard is compounding the Huge Dumb by not adding a heaping side of groveling to their backpedal.
* Blizzard did not backpedal nearly hard enough ("at this time," such bullshit. This is not the time to cover your ass you imbeciles, this is the time to beg forgiveness).
* Blizzard really ought to re-examine the entirety of their RealID structure and prune it back (friends-of-friends dangerous and unnecessary) with a new eye towards privacy and security.
Goddamn.
