[identity profile] noabsolutes.livejournal.com 2010-11-30 09:21 pm (UTC)(link)
I am so sad for your husband right now you have no idea

Is it all shellfish :[

[identity profile] mythrai.livejournal.com 2010-11-30 09:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Yesss and he used to love shrimp, poor guy!

I heard something interesting today that shellfish allergies are thought to be a sensitivity to the arsenic in shellfish shells, and shrimp have the highest concentration. also because arsenic is a metal cross contamination on high heat surfaces is still a problem. *the more you know rainbow*

[identity profile] noabsolutes.livejournal.com 2010-11-30 09:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Interesting!

My heart is breaking rn :[ HOW CAN YOU STAND BEING BANNED FROM SHELLFISH LEST YOU KILL YOUR HUSBAND

[identity profile] mythrai.livejournal.com 2010-11-30 09:36 pm (UTC)(link)

[identity profile] mythrai.livejournal.com 2010-11-30 09:41 pm (UTC)(link)
I love fish fish though!

and also, you live in city which probably has seafood on a different world than buttfuck nowhere Ontario :3

[identity profile] noabsolutes.livejournal.com 2010-11-30 09:56 pm (UTC)(link)
yeah that is probably true. New England is a huge seafood area so I am spoiled rotten. Did you know that fish chowder in Australia doesn't [appear to] use milk/cream??? It's like.... flour and water. HURK.
